we took our equipment to a friends bday party last weekend -- and some drunk fuck spilled a mixed drink all over one cdj.  i seems to work fine except (im going to sound retarded now ... im not the dj here so bear with me) the part on the top that spins doesnt change the temp when you spin it now.

does anyone know where i can take this to get it repaired?

Just buy a new or different one.   I bought a CDJ100 last year with a new motor that was a 200 dollar repair and it's still super touchy as far as the skipping is concerned.

Xero should just invest in some ones.   It's a hit on the wallet and you might have to eat rocks and cats for a few weeks but trust me going through used equipment isnt worth it because you have to keep fixing and repairing it.  New equipment is worth suffering for.

if it was allot of liquid (not water), they're probably fucked.  it's definitely cheaper to get a new set of 100's instead of repairing them.

If they were 800's or 1000's, I would say fix them.

get contact cleaner for knobs and faders from guitar center and drown it. work the platter to get it all up in there like the drink was. let it dry again.. its worth a shot?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDOHgMaNiLI&feature=related  the video is very shaky but the person took it apart so just getting a look at what it looks like inside may be helpful.  I like the contact cleaner idea.
