What can be said about Todd Terry that hasn’t already been said?
Legendary producer, house music god, king of the beats, SP1200 warlock, remix maestro, and possibly the first man to really fuse hip hop,disco and house properly.
Todd singlehandedly defined the New York house sound in the late 80’s and 90’s with his landmark releases for Strictly Rhythm and his own Freeze Records imprint, to becoming a Grammy-winning remixer and has gone on to release some of the biggest influences on house music and some of the best known crossover house hits ( Jungle Brothers “I’ll House you” and Everything but the Girls “Missing” ). Todd Terry’s career as a producer and DJ continues unabated to this day with his ‘Strictly Todd Terry’ mix album as well as the hit "Get Down" by Todd Terry Allstars feat. Kenny Dope, DJ Sneak, Terry Hunter, and Tara McDonald. Todd is one of the world’s most celebrated figures in dance music. With almost two decades of dance floor domination under his belt the quality of his productions goes from strength to strength.
His huge sample-heavy discography includes anthems like Something Goin' On and Keep on Jumpin’. With almost two decades of dance floor domination under Todd’s belt, welcome to the church of house music presided over by Todd the God.
Currently he is working on collaborations with Roger S, DJ Chuckie, Prok & Fitch, Armand Van Helden, CID D KID, Sander Kleinenberg, Copyright, 50 Cent.
