Not every event will have what you want.
Just the way it is.
This will be huge for the people who are into this music.
Just be sure to go to the ones with the genres you do like. AND DEFINITELY, say HI to the DJs you like if you get a chance!! (not while they are playing though! you wont get full attention at all at that point.)

I don't like hardcore, or house or techno. Do you see me complain about it? NO!! Do I go on a humanaut thread and bitch " WHY ALL THE HOUSE AND TECHNO!?!?!"
No I don't because that is fucking rude and not needed. If I don't like the music at a certain party, either I don't go or I go and still try to enjoy myself, knowing that sometimes you must jam to a certain type of electronic music that you might not really like that much.
Desosandeigo STOP YOUR FUCKING BITCHING!!!!!!! if you don't like dubstep, that's fine. BUT SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT!!!!!
Humanaut/full house/murdzak .... they all throw shit that you would love. so why not go on there party boards and say good things. and stop bitching on anything that has dubstep you fucking bitch.

that being said. 3 hours of dubstep is a lot. i would have never done this. me and ricky might play dnb. we will see. gotta talk him into it. but he produces dubstep so it will be a hard fight.

Humanaut is openly a specifically house and techno event crew so...
"All Genre" events open themselves up to complaints that specific genre events don't. People complain in hopes that what they want will get booked more next time. How else will you know what people want and don't want? And if your events are focusing on a certain crowd, then be open about it! Don't hide the fact that you don't intend to have certain genres at your events. Go ahead and make a brand for yourself if that is what you want. (not speaking to anyone in particular with that comment)
The way I look at it now, If there are a few raves that are proper for your genres of choice each year, then you should be happy. Rotating genres at raves and not overexposing them is what keeps them special too.
Shit like All Good is only once a year. Boo was once a year. Those awesome parties in Niagara were once a year... People anticipate that shit.
A lot of good stuff is going on lately and it's still moving up. Will be cool if there is ever a venue and crew that put an annual PGH event up at a Boo type of level.
Anyhow, back to the party! End Hijacking.
Lots of good DJs on this, I've come to the conclusion that if you have the assassin members on your lineup, then you have an instant crowd. From a promoter POV, the Assassins definitely pay for themselves. Good job on getting to that level guys.

Dude I would totally get all 1999 to some hard house (not talking about the UK stuff, though I like some of that too). Like seriously I would totally get down. That style totally fucking died and I wouldn't mind a comeback.
Check out some mixes! Trance and breaks. www.deejay-mixes.com/Eric_Bliss/

you don't have to do that, these kids book that much dubstep because they like it. plus me and sean will change it up with the bassline mixup and i'll try to focus on the grime and doublestep shit. We all know how to play our own styles.
Plus there is two rooms, they can run away from it if they don't like it. We're not sound raping anyone.

yeah plus i play alot of clubstep which is a dubstep/bmore hybrid. oh and the whole too much dubstep thing. replace the word dubstep with DnB and you have the same bitching you heard about 4 years ago. it will never stop so just ignore it.
