Re-vamped, Re-purposed & Remarkable Costuming
Hosted by Amethyst (ElectroBelly)
A runway show featuring planet-friendly bellydance costume designs,
to support environmental awareness and conscious living, and to promote artistic recycling.

Local artists of various styles have each been paired up with a bellydancer from Tribe of Azhar (or a guest dancer). Each artist has created a costume for the dancer, using all recycled and/or re-used materials, which will be presented on March 20 at the Gala.
Dancer models will each do a run-way walk and perform a short solo dance, displaying her costume as each artist describes his/her creation.
Judges will award prizes to artists.
Prizes will be donated by local businesses.
Show and party will be DJ'd by Sunset til Sunrise (world electronic mix).
Refreshment sale by the Vegan Goddess (food, drink and desserts).
Recycled art project table for all attendees.
$10 suggested donation at the door,
to support the recycling projects of the Meter Room, plus pro-earth organizations and events.
